Botswana Christian Health & AIDS  Intervention Programme (BOCHAIP) was founded in 1996 and registered in 1999 as a Non-Governmental faith based Organization. It was initiated by the Christian community in order to contribute to the fight against HIV/AIDS through Christian approach. BOCHAIP is governed by a National Board whose role is to provide strategic guidance to the effective functioning of the organization.

In line with the Second National Strategic Framework on HIV and AIDS and BOCHAIP’s Strategic Plan, the organization offers three services: Prevention, Care and Support, and Advancement of Christian Values. Different programs and projects are provided under these services.
